Download the latest version of the Yuzu Emulator for your device below. Installation doesn’t take long. Download the file and run it like any other app. Before you start, make sure you have the required product. Keys and Firmware. Without these, games won’t load. This is the most common issue new users face. If you’re not sure how to set everything up, you can follow the installation steps below.

Select Your Platform

Windows

Free community build for Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit). Supports Vulkan and OpenGL backends.

Android

Works on Android 11+ devices. Best performance on Snapdragon 865 or newer with Adreno GPU. For mobile gaming, Yuzu MMJ fork is recommended.

Linux

Available as AppImage for Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, and Arch Linux. Recommended with Mesa/RADV drivers and Vulkan support.

What You Need Before Running Yuzu

Installing Yuzu isn’t enough. You’ll need a few extra files, otherwise games won’t load.

File
What it does
Why it matters
prod.keys
Unlocks and decrypts games
Without this, no game will launch
title.keys
Extra keys for some games
Missing keys can stop specific games from loading
Firmware
System files for the emulator
Without it, games may crash or not start
Game files (.NSP / .XCI)
Your actual game files
Corrupted or bad files won’t run

If the emulator opens but your game doesn’t start, it’s usually because keys or firmware are missing. Not sure where to place these files? Follow the installation steps above.

Is Yuzu Still Available in 2026?

Yes. While the official yuzu-emu.org and its GitHub repository were taken down after the $2.4 million Nintendo settlement in March 2024, community forks remain active. Yuzu is not on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store; any listing there is fake. Trusted builds come only from community sources.

Active forks: Yuzu MMJ · Suyu · Sudachi · Citron · Eden
