This page explains how to submit a copyright takedown request under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and what happens after we receive one.
Our Position on Copyright
PlayWithYuzu.com is a purely informational website. We do not host, store, or distribute:
- Game ROMs or ISOs
- Prod keys or title keys
- Nintendo Switch firmware files
- Emulator executable files
- Any other copyrighted game content or software
All content on this site consists of original written guides, compatibility notes, and setup instructions. If you believe any specific content on our site infringes your copyright, we take such claims seriously and will respond promptly.
How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice
To submit a valid DMCA notice, please send a written request to yuzuemulator451@gmail.com containing all of the following:
- Your full legal name, mailing address, phone number, and email address
- Identification of the copyrighted work: Describe the work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered, provide a representative list.
- Identification of the infringing content: Provide the exact URL(s) on PlayWithYuzu.com where the allegedly infringing content appears. General statements without specific URLs cannot be acted upon.
- A statement of good faith belief: Include the following statement: “I have a good faith belief that the use of the described material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”
- A statement of accuracy and authority: Include the following statement: “I declare, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.”
- Your physical or electronic signature
Incomplete notices that are missing any of the above elements may not be actionable and could delay our response.
What Happens After We Receive Your Notice
Upon receiving a complete and valid DMCA notice, we will:
- Review the claim within a reasonable timeframe
- Remove or disable access to the identified content if the claim is valid
- Notify the affected party if applicable
Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to [your contact email]. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your full legal name, address, phone number, and email address
- Identification of the content that was removed and its original location on our site
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district and will accept service of process from the original complainant
- Your physical or electronic signature
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed content within 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant seeks a court order.
Repeat Infringers
PlayWithYuzu.com reserves the right to terminate access to any user who repeatedly infringes others’ intellectual property rights.
